Chhapaak Movie Review

Deepika Padukone is one of the finest Bollywood actresses. Her performance in the recently released movie” Chhapaak” is worth watching and fabulous. Chhapaak is a movie that is based on a true event and shows the story of an acid survivor. After watching this movie, I am in love with every parameter of the movie such as direction, dialogue, acting and a lot of other things.



Chhapaak Review and Story:

Meghna Gulzar has directed this movie. The whole story moves around the life of a girl when her life takes a drastic change when attacked by acid and how she fights for justice and reclaim her life.



The movie story is actually on life of Laxmi Agarwal who is an acid attack survivor and who has now become the inspiration to many. Deepika Padukone is playing the character of “Malti”, who is attacked by Bashir Khan and his aide during the daytime on the busy streets of Delhi.

The movie begins when we meet Malti when she is trying to find a job in her life and trying to move forward from both emotional and physical scars. To treat the physical scars, she has to go through a lot of surgeries. Her life is now a blend of her work with an NGO for acid victims, her surgeries and her court cases.

Archana (Madhurjeet Sarghi) is a Malti’s lawyer who stands throughout her journey. Her other main support comes from Amol (Vikrant Massey), who employs her to work for his NGO.

All the Characters have justified their role. Deepika Padukone is the soul of the film and has delivered a brilliant and powerful performance. Many scenes will move you to tears. Both Vikrant Massey and Madhurjeet Sarghi have given commendable performances. The story pours out a strong message and is a must watch movie.

Conclusion:
‘Chhapaak’ is a film that has shown powerful handling of a vicious crime against women. It is a story that should be heard.
